I was wanting to know if you go and purchase one of them DNA test and pay for a legal one with it being collected in indiana will it be legal. Someone told me that it won't I was just wondering if they was lying because I know they ask the father in child support if he denies the child. So can someone help me out on this one.

I am a smoker and really think they are in overkill on this smoking ban. OK, I understand it in family restaurants, but bars or private clubs - will it be in private homes next? Give us a break! I am getting sick of seeing these commercials on TV about second hand smoke every 5 seconds. Yes, we all know that smoking is bad for you, but I think we've got so many more issues in this world to worry about. I personally don't drink and am not crazy about people having a few drinks at dinner and getting behind the wheel of a car when I'm on the road. Why not tax alcohol to the hilt? Alcohol kills too. Not to mention the vast amount of people on the roads these days have a cell phone glued in their ear. Talk about hazardous to your health! Was just wondering if anyone out there in states who have smoking bans agree or disagree.

If the landlord and I are doing background checks on each other, do we just pay our own fees or does the tenant pay for both the landlord and his/her own? And where do we go to do these background checks? And what about references?

Thanks

I think Batman would be a Republican because he was born a spoiled brat with lots of money and is though on crime.

And I think Spiderman would be a liberal because he's from New York, majored in physics (which means he believes in the big bang not creationism), and because he believes that:

"with great power comes great responsibility."

Can anyone tell me...is there a limit to how many people are accepted in to the STA-21 program each year?

I was told very few people actually apply, which is why so few people are accepted, but I wondered if there is actually a limit to how many applicants can be accepted each term.

For a start, none of them are qualified economists, interest rates are set independently by the reserve bank, and the dollar's value is determined by the market.

The Labour team knows as much about managing the economy as the Coalition did when they got into power. The difference is, the Government is currently being irresponsible with OUR money by trying to buy our vote. Giving exorbitant tax cuts will only fuel inflation and minimise the funds available for important areas the Government has neglected, such as Health and Education.

And lets not forget that it was a Labour government that initiated the changes to economic policy that have brought down interest rates, held off inflation and increased the value of the dollar.

Australians need to stop listening to the Government's political rhetoric and analyse the facts for themselves. If people do this, and do not fall into the Government's "fear of change" campaign, I think they are likely to see a need for new Leadership.

I have a nice job offer in a private law firm but I want the experience that you get in the JAG corp and I want to serve my country. Though the private law firm money is good, I am not looking forward to being thrown in a corner to do research and take depositions for the next 4 years. In any event, I am afraid that if I turn down such a good offer to take a JAG position with such low pay that I am really hurting myself in the long run. Two basic question (elaboration would be appreciated): 1) will it be worth my while?, and 2) what sort of opportunities are out there after graduation (in other words do employers look kindly on JAG experiences)?

Thanks all for any insight you can give on my difficult decision.

Americans simply bend over and take it like they have for every other illegal constitutional amendment that he has initiated during his disastrous 2 terms in office? I think they would take it right up the tailpipe if Bush said that terrorists would kill them if they didn't agree wih him.

All moderates I have meet have intelligent answers to the problems our nation faces, yet offer no action. The Republicans and Democrats are not so great and have a tendency to spew off the same old tired lines over and over again and just get angry when you ask them some hard questions.

What would it take to get fellow moderates together and into action?

I have an old friend. He was broke, he asked some help.
So I gave him some money. About 1500.
He supposed to pay me back in few weeks. He didnt.
It s been a while now.
He says he still having problems but he ll pay eventually.
He also accepted to sign a document so I can sue him in case he doesnt pay in few weeks.
I said yes. Now I need to prepare such document.
So my question is:
Does it have a legal binding if its just between me and him?
Or Do we have to go to notery public?
