I was coming home from a friend's place at 1am after watching a late night college football game, and in a neighborhood near my house I got pulled over for running a stop sign. It was pretty late and I was tired but I'm almost certain that I made a complete stop at the stop sign. Should I go to court and fight this ticket? Nobody else was in the car with me and it was 1am so nobody else was on the road except for me.

How do you partake in police auctions. I always hear my older friends talking about lawnmowers, cars and stuff they get at police auctions for really cheap. Where do we find some in our city?

"Well stop it."

"I can't. The dog ate my homework..." "Also, I might not get reelected"

The hard data on babies around the Western world is that they're running out. "Replacement" fertility rate--i.e., the number you need for merely a stable population, not getting any bigger, not getting any smaller--is 2.1 babies per woman. Some countries are well above that: the global fertility leader, Somalia, is 6.91, Niger 6.83, Afghanistan 6.78, Yemen 6.75. Notice what those nations have in common? Islam!!!!!!!!

Scroll way down to the bottom of the Hot One Hundred top breeders and you'll eventually find the United States, hovering just at replacement rate with 2.07 births per woman. But Canada's fertility rate is down to 1.5, well below replacement rate; Germany and Austria are at 1.3, the brink of the death spiral; Russia and Italy are at 1.2; Spain 1.1, about half replacement rate.

I will agree with all the gun nuts that we must be allowed to have guns, when they agree to abolish our standing army.

Are those the only two possibilities and if so, how meaningless will that render the concept of anti-semitism?

Does that mean that the Neo-Nazi who wants to kill all Jews is no different morally than, say, an American who doesn't want his tax dollars being used to kill more families in Gaza?

Rupert Murdoch's media empire already includes the Fox Television, Fox News Channel, a maze of cable networks, radio stations, hundreds of newspapers around the world, and even Internet sites like MySpace. Recently, he gobbled up the Wall Street Journal and launched the Fox Business Network.
The media are our prime source of news and information. When we let a few giant conglomerates control so many outlets, quality journalism turns into junk media, and our democracy suffers.

I just got a phony e-mail "exposing" all the flaws in the Canadian system and warning Americans not to vote for Hillary because she plans on instituting the same thing here. There's not enough room here to print the letter, but I put in a link so you can read it....http://mostlybitching.blogspot.com/

I'd especially like to hear from Canadians on this.
