People still marry according to their castes, creed, religion and so on....

The country still does not speak about changing it through radio or TV and the masses continue to continue this tradition...

http://www.friesian.com/caste.htm

Why is our country not changing? We call ourselves multi faceted, multi religious and very modern but yet at the same time we are not doing much to change the mind sets of the people.

No matter what, though our country lives in harmony there are many people affected through the caste system. People are treated badly and ruthlessly by other people from their so called higher class/ higher levels of caste!

When will this change? Are the younger individuals of our country willing to think and accept that there are some radical changes that must take place for our country to go forward or will there be chaos and confusion and will this continue in future generations?

To everyone who answered my question: If I may clarify what I mean when I say "gun control" to all these people out there who weren't too happy with my question: I have no intentions of debating over taking away all the guns because that would be ludicrous, and leave us completely defenseless to the people that don't care about the gun-control law. I'm only proposing that the requirements to possess a deadly firearm should be heightened and the more powerful firearms shouldn't be available to the general public. To help prevent future disasters like the horrible Virginia Tech tragedy. But hey I just wanted to thank every1 for taking the time out of their busy schedules to help me out, and really do sincerely think everyone has their right to their own opinions. After all, we do liv in the greatest country the world has ever known! PS.To the person who told me their dad was murdered. You have my deepest sympathies…

while bringing in millions of guest workers from our southern neighbors and elsewhere do work for such dirt cheap wages that those americans who still have jobs have their wages depressed even further...or lose their jobs? and why would such an elected leader not want to spend of a dime of tax payer money on his constituents and would rather give it away overseas?

I hate it when mexicans group me with them. Cubans are culturally more like white americans anyway (even though we speak spanish). It is just weird how mexicans call me "brother", very stupid imo. Please don't group me with the economic policies of the mexican government. And by the way, if you are mexican realize that your country has the harshest immigration law in the Western Hemisphere, so don't fly a mexican flag and point the finger at america.

God Bless America, and a free Cuba

Hi,

I was born in Ottawa, but when I was 6 y.o. my family returned to Poland. I'm 18 now and I still feel more Canadian than Polish. I would love to return.

What should I do to have an easy landing? I have no family or friends in Canada. Can the government help me?

I'm a student.
