while bringing in millions of guest workers from our southern neighbors and elsewhere do work for such dirt cheap wages that those americans who still have jobs have their wages depressed even further...or lose their jobs? and why would such an elected leader not want to spend of a dime of tax payer money on his constituents and would rather give it away overseas?

To do so helps the filthy rich co.s make even more $$$ and it is these co.s that give our "elected leaders" the big $ they need to get re-elected. That all that matters to them , the longer they stay in office the more $ they make doing the will of BIG BIZ ,,while the working class who were dumb enough to vote for them wonder why they can't afford to pay the bills and put food on table.

It depends upon what elected official you are talking about, #1. I can think of only one that bears that description and he is presently NOT in office.

#2, having lived in Chicago, New York, Texas and California, I can tell you that regardless of whose been in office the illegal alien problem is not new and no one needs to 'bring' them in. It is a problem that has always existed and went ignored until Bush's Immigration Bill, which at least tried to address the problem that had previously gone ignored.

(I am not saying it was a good bill.)

I don't know of any elected leaders who do that. In the US, the President cannot send jobs overseas. He does not do that. His administration does let illegal immigrants into the country. For that, you can give Mr. Bush a big minus one.
