Bobby Jindal 36 republican born Baton Rouge 1971 son of Indian nationals who had emigrated to Louisiana for graduate study. Born Hindu coverted to Catholic. Graduated in graduate studies from Oxford. When he takes office he will be the youngest governor in the U.S.
