To Charles: Yes, if you marry her, and all the paperwork goes through, you can bring her over her, as well as her children, since you'll now be considered to be relatives.
But as some of the others have pointed out, make sure that you really do want to get married to this woman, and that she really does have feelings for you.
Otherwise, she'll have to go through the normal visa application process.
To Brandonsmom: Why would it be okay for Charles to bring over a woman from Russia but not Thailand? The only difference I can perceive is their race: Thai = Asian, Russian = White. So is having the government provide benefits for white immigrants ok, but not for asian immigrants? Doesn't that undermine your later opinion, thus making you a hypocrite?
And you're also assuming that the immigrants will automatically become wholly dependent on the government. While some immigrants may be in that situation, the significant majority of immigrants are NOT like that. Could it be that you're a racist and xenophobe?
My parents are both immigrants, and are highly educated and very well-to-do. If statistics are accurate, your family is probably much more dependent on the government than my family is. Think that over next time before you come out on a diatribe.

I agree. These individuals must be an notion to the competent bodied. I'm in poor health of individuals born with each and every school and each and every danger making out they are sufferers while the immense majority of the human race are a long way worse off than they are going to ever be. Everyone I recognise in a wheel chair works and will pay taxes!

I would think that being on disability temporary or not would mean that they are on a limited income and for that reason I would say I don't think so. The government wants to NOT have to support new immigrants. Maybe you could try after you get off of disability?

Is this someone you want to marry. Please say that you didn't find her in a catalog. What are your reasons for bringing her here? Did you meet her in Thailand and have a torrid affair? Something tells me no. If your 20 years older than her and those kids aren't yours, try and find somebody to love you here. Or you may want to try Russia!
I pay enough taxes,I don't need to support your chick and her kids. Let her find another way here!

If they are married I guess. You'll have to check the laws of that state.
