Are those the only two possibilities and if so, how meaningless will that render the concept of anti-semitism?

Does that mean that the Neo-Nazi who wants to kill all Jews is no different morally than, say, an American who doesn't want his tax dollars being used to kill more families in Gaza?

Assuming it relatively is a real question, then 'Redisca' merits the superb answer - she addresses each and every of the appropriate themes and then some. large stuff. i could purely upload that there are a huge volume of people who, regardless of no longer understanding Israel's historic previous, and regardless of in no way having been there, regardless of the undeniable fact that experience constructive to pronounce on what Israel 'ought to' or 'shouldn't do'. you won't be able to criticise Israel without understanding why she does what she does; i.e. what she has suffered on the palms of her Arab neighbours. additionally the undeniable fact that the very term 'Palestinian' used to refer especially to Jews - we've lived there for 3000 years continuously. Israel isn't any worse, yet in all probability plenty greater appropriate, than many different countries in the international. yet she is likewise the main criticised.

You miss the point. If we send foreign aid to Israel, and they use it to defend their own people, but that results in people being killed in Gaza, or the West Bank, or anywhere else, then it becomes the fault of the people who shelter those who attack Israel by putting themselves in harms way. For those who get killed from military action, their best way out is to oust those who are causing the trouble. Israel has a right to defend itself. If there are civilians getting killed, then sorry that it happens, but it is their own fault.
Once foreign aid is given to another country, it is their money and they should be free to do with as they please. If we don't like what is done with it, then we should with hold it, except for Israel. The best thing anyone can do is to help Israel in any way that Israel needs assistance. It should be obvious to all, but blindness seems to be all to prevalent. Look at what has happened to every country, or empire that has treated Israel badly. None are now the world powers they once were. Little Israel has beat the stuffing out of the Arabs EVERY TIME THUS FAR, that they have picked a fight with Israel. Why can't people realize that helping Israel is in their best interest. Bless Israel, and be blessed, fight Israel, and be cursed, it is just that simple and the last 59 years has shown that to be true, not to mention what has happened over the past 1800+ years.

This is a false dichotomy, however, from the wording of the question, it appears that you know that already.

Every nation on earth needs to be accounatable and be able to tolerate criticism of its actions and policies. Just as a human who cannot tolerate any form of criticism is extremely unhealthy, so is a nation who can't (think of America right now!).

Criticism of Israel's policies does not constitute Anti-Semitism. As people not directly involved in Israel's conflicts, we need to be there for them and for their enemies. We need to work with both of them to find peaceful ways to resolve their difficulties. We need to not glorify or demonize a nation, but to consider them in their international context.

Anti-Semitism is the hatred of Jews due to extreme prejudices and the need to find a scapegoat, enemy to project your own shadow onto, in order to make yourself feel like you are "all good" and a need for someone to blame for your problems that you are not yet mature enough to accept as your own problems for which you need to find a solution.

There IS a massive difference.

No.. I think many people in America do not look at the situation in the same way you describe.
Most just do not want war. You do not have to hate some one because of there actions.
Many people in the world might hate what America has done in the middle east but do not hate America.
In general I don't think Americans want war or want to be involved in something that is not our fight.

I am neither, my only argument against Israel is that like all people they have the right to arm themselves for the privilege (RIGHTS DO NOT EXIST) of existing. That said they should foot the bill for their military not have the US taxpayers do it for them.

The simple fact is: Israel is right, and everyone surrounding them are terrorists.

The small sliver of land the Jews own is so petty, you have to wonder why the huge arab countries do take in the palestinians if they love them so much.

Do you know why there are palestinian refugee camps in arab lands? Its because THEY DON'T WANT THEM! All those camps in Lebannon?---right, the arabs don't like or want the pals. They want them to go back and have their own land.

When you side with the bus-bombers and other crazies, you are not going to win a lot of arguments.

I would rather not spend my tax dollars for Hamas or the PLO to kill Jewish families in Israel. And it might help if the cowards that do, not hide among families in Gaza.
