My senators are Kerry and Kennedy. Makes you wonder where the third stooge went.

Kerry, who not only shot himself in the foot (possibly literally) during the campaign but basically came across as someone who wanted to HAVE BEEN president. Not be president. Those of us who remember him as the Lt. Governor here in Mass know a much different John Forbes Kerry.

As for Kennedy, well, what can you say about arguably the most famous drunk driver in the US. There are folks who really believe he was adopted. He's really the Shemp of the Kennedy family.

Consider. Joe Jr. goes down flying the suicide mission to bomb the German sub pens at Lorient. JFK takes on a Jap destroyer, screws up Bay of Pigs but faces off Khrushchev on nukes in Cuba, and then becomes a martyr.

Ted? He turned his mother's Delmont into a submarine then swam like hell back to the hotel - where he proceeded to try and establish an albi. Noble. Heroic.

Yeah, I feel really good about my senators.

I live in Washington DC so I don't have a Senator but I have to live with the people you elect. I really wish you would give more thought about the people you send here. Sometimes I think you are electing people you just want to out of your state so you don't have to live with them.

Unfortunately, I live in Texas. Our (not MY) senators are clones of bush. As is the governor and the speaker of the Texas house.

Unfortunately my senators (Georgia) are neocons--they don't "stack up" to Bush--they just suck up to him. Just like most of the emasculated GOP senators and congresspersons.
