I think Batman would be a Republican because he was born a spoiled brat with lots of money and is though on crime.
And I think Spiderman would be a liberal because he's from New York, majored in physics (which means he believes in the big bang not creationism), and because he believes that:
"with great power comes great responsibility."

Superman, on the other hand, may have been born in a red state but he went to the big city and works for the "liberal media."

They would all be liberals because A) Batman believes in being educated and smart, B) Superman believes in being careful with power and giving kryptonite to Batman to supply "checks and balances," and C) Spiderman because he believes in helping everybody, including the poor.
You want a Republican? Dr. Doom, dictator of Latveria.

They would all be republican.
1. Just because your from New York doesn't mean your a liberal.
2. Supporting evidence for the Big Bang (we real science types don't use "believe") does not mean you do not support the idealogy of an omnipotent force in the universe. If you can prove otherwise you may cut infront of me and Prof Hawking to be the first person to figure out the cosmos. (creationism BTW is wrong on a great deal of things and is not the only theory).
3. Taking responsibility and being a hard worker are not liberal traits... for example:
1.You promote welfare for lazy incompetent people whom darwin has yet to eliminate in what should be a fairly comical extermination of inadequate gene pool syndrome (I made that up).
2. You want the government to do everything because you are lazy and don't want to do it yourself.. like health care. ETC....
Oh I almost forgot, Republican is not an ideology it's a political party.. the term you were obviously to ignorant to use (because you don't know the difference) is conservative.
Have a happy day.. Peace, love, and bad edumacations all around.

I agree with you on spiderman and batman although batmans alter ego Bruce Wayne seems quite liberal but i think superman would stay out of politics all together seeing himself as more of humanities champion.

Don't bring fictional characters, who the comics insure never make any direct political comment in favor of either party, into something as messy and polarized as politics. That's part of he reason why Steven Rogers, Captain America, is dead. Republicans wanted Cap in Iraq and saying, "I love Bush, now let's kick butt" and Democrats wanting Cap talking out against the Bush administration. The writers grew tired of that sort of polarization and removed the argument. No more Captain America. He's dead and buried.

Well according to comic book history those were all conservative. In the comic book world the Green Arrow was the first liberal.
Liberals by nature do not make moral value calls and all super heroes do.

Superman was born on Krypton. That is why Kryptonite can kill him. Read the comics, before you post.
