what if it has a clip, and you put it on the inside of the pocket while the clip attached to the outside, technically you can see it, and the clip is chrome so it is quite shiny and visible, correct? is that conealed?

Oh, found out...its not actually a switch blade, it has the thing on the back so its classed as "assisted open"

if anyone is wondering its a Kershaw Ken Onion "Scallion" with "speedsafe" torsion bar, which is the thing on the blade the pushes it out, but do the same laws apply?

Conceal - To keep from being seen, found, observed, or discovered; hide.

If it's in your pocket it can not be seen.

So not concealed could be, clipped on your belt, but not covered by any other clothing.

Knives are not illegal but switch blade are in just about all the states. Concealed is yes in your pocket or not in plain view. It has to be in a case on your belt.

Ironhorse 7 is right. You can carry one, and i am pretty sure having it in a toolbelt (providing you have one.use one) would count as concealed as long as it can be seen...I ahve no idea why you would be carry one besides in a toolbelt or something like that, so the toolbelt is an assumption...

clip it to your belt with the clip part behind your belt and the knife outside.

Don't carry it into D.C. they are classed the same as sawed off shotguns and machine guns in D.C.

If it can't be seen, It's concealed. Maybe try an open pouch attached to your belt.
