I'd bet the answer is NO.

If you are being slaughtered do you say to the International organization that has been providing food and aid as well as man power, "we don't want you guys here. You help us, but not enough, so please leave."

If we don't support the UN how the hell can we turn around and call it weak? America is "supposed" to be the world's moral compass, but certain citizens believe an organization meant to provide aid to those around the world is just some silly idea.

You didn't hear Bush say what was happening in Sudan was tragic until Kofi Annan kept repeating that the world can't sit by and do nothing. After that, Bush got on the phone and requested a larger UN peace keeping force be allowed in Sudan.

The UN is doing what it can and I'm sure the people dying appreciate all they can get.

People are always comparing Conservative leaders to Nazis, why doesn’t anyone every compare Rachel Carson to the Nazis? It turns out that 1 millions deaths per year could be prevented if DDT were still in use. Now I’m not saying bring back DDT, but since it was banned in 1972, something like 34 million excess deaths, mostly African women and children, have occurred due to malaria. It also turns out that malaria makes one more susceptible to HIV infection so there may be excess AIDS cases in Africa for lack of DDT. Where is the outrage? And why aren’t the same outrageous labels applied to Liberals as to Conservatives? It looks like this women is at indirectly responsible for a number of deaths somewhere between Hitler and Stalin (and still climbing).

BEIRUT (Reuters) - Arab League Secretary-General Amr Moussa renewed efforts on Tuesday to end a political standoff in Lebanon, which many fear could turn violent as the country faces its worst political split since the 1975-1990 civil war.

While our great leader, Bush, has been distracted settling an old score with Saddam, the tiny country of N Korea has been busy building WMD's. Their people don't realize that the Korean war has been over for decades because they have been completely isolated from the rest of the world. They have been brain-washed by their volatile & dangerous leader, whom they worship as if he were a god, that the US is an evil empire that must be eradicated. How do you suppose our government is handling this, and what do you think can be done to prevent an attack?

In specifics, I am watching the news and it seems that George W. Bush isn't listening to the people anymore. Even after the election in November, he still cannot come in terms that the Iraq war is a disaster.

Do you think that America is trying to stop labor workers from immigrating into America? If you were to look at US immigration study guides you will notice the they are beginning, and going to become more strict. It seems as if America is trying to shift immigration to scholors, or potential scholars only.

Some of the new laws for immigration are pointing towards people who have had access to a top of the line education. The knowledge that must be known is beyond that of any average citizen you will find in a public school.

Most education Visa immigrants I know are going to go back to their country after they get their college education.

The United Nations continuously bad mouths our country. They think we are bullies and brain dead. They never back us up in a militry conflict, yet they continue to benefit from our military. We are always the first ones the ask for money after a disaster then they complain we did not give enough. 30% of the money to run the United Nations is paid by U.S. tax payers. O yea they also want to institue a tax in the U.S. that would be paid directly to THEM.

Do they not speak out against these criminals that give the religion and the people who follow it a bad name. The world did not let Hitler go unchecked because he was a believer in extreme Christianity, so why do the Muslims let these radicals that do it in the name of Islam go unchecked?
