Was anyone else offended when Golda Meir denied the existence of Palestine before Zionism. Isn't whether or not Palestine existed more relevant to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict then whether or not the holocaust happened. Does anyone else see that Palestine deniers are just as bad if not more then Holocaust deniers? Does anyone see the similarities?

What do you think, was Golda Meir just as bad as Ahmadinejad trying to deny the existence of Palestine?

The Greek Democracy is often regarded as the fairest version of the system ever created.

All (male) citizens above the age of 20, were open to attend assembly. At assemply they would debate and vote on issues in much the way our congress does today.

From this pool the Council was selected *by lottery* of those citizens over the age of 30. Their job was preparing legislation and regulating the assembly. The lottery was held yearly and any citizen could hold council position only twice in their lives.

The Courts were executed from the same pool of those eligable for Council. The Jurors selected by drawing lots and they acted as the Judge as well.

The main constraint of this type of Democracy came with the size of nations. Such a system of rule would have been infeasable for Rome. But in the last 20 years, the world has become much smaller.

What do you think of the possibilitys? How would an American direct Democracy manifest itself?

You would think that instead of feeling happy that they've sold another box of cigarettes they would feel remorse every time they hear that more and more people are dying of lung cancer or second hand smoke. It is very obvious that they just care about the millions of dollars they make not about the millions of people who die every year. I would feel ashamed to be a relative or friend to someone who works for that company.

I was speeding on a highway (going 60 in 50 zone) and was pulled over. The first thing the cop told me was I was going 81 and slowed down to 75. This was completely untrue. I mentioned this to him and suggested that maybe my speedometer was off but I couldn't have been going that fast. He went into his car and I went into mine after which he came back to me and said he's only going to write me as going 65. I said ok, took the report and left. Later when I had time to look at the report I saw that he wrote my comment as "substantially saying that I went maybe 65" and his accusation is that I went 65. Now, because he "wrote down" my violation as 65 he looks great in the report and I clearly look like a violator. However, in reality he "wrote down" my tocket in order so he doesn't look ridiculus (as it seems to me in my assesment). Additionally, I never recall saying that I went 65, only that my speedometer may have been off.
Any advice how to handle the situation

Do you tend to lean more toward believing in A or B?

OPTION A:
Abortion
Euthanasia
Atheism
Homosexual Marriage
Legalize Drugs
Large centralized government
Government is responsible for taking care of others
Redistribute of income, wealth and property
America is the root of evil in the world
Christmas and Christianity should be banned

OPTION B:
Belief in God
Homosexual Marriage is not the same as marriage between a man and woman
Individuals are responsible for taking care of others
Legalizing drugs would be harmful to society
A smaller, more decentralized government based on constitutional protections is better
Capitalism is not perfect but it creates wealth, jobs and individuals are entitled to what they earn.
America has flaws, but is still the best country
Christmas should remain a traditional holiday and Christianity has religious freedom like any other religion.
Abortion is really the killing of a child/fetus in the womb
Euthanasia is also killing with a fancy name

How can I have proof that the item was sent to the buyer so that if they were to at a later date claim that the item was not sent I would have proof that it was. Also who has to pay for this and the insurance on an item, the buyer or the seller? If you give them the option of having insurance or not having it how do you add that extra cost on?

The last five decades the country has seen very high acts of terrorism mostly emenating from Kashmir issue. We have lost many many human beings, the families awere destroyed ,some sect of community displaced out of place, but the ministries either at State or Central remained as spectators for all these happenings. As per special act -370 no other Indian can either buy or sell property in Kashmir land thus paving way for more concentration for select community to continue thier barabaric acts in the name religion and weakening the structure of India. So why every citizen of India represent Parliament to abolish such irrelevant acts so as to make Kashmir more safe for living for our own Indians? If any of selfish Politician counteracts this proposal, he must hanged to death in public place without any mercy? Some times We need to act like Godsey,Ravana,Kamsa..to counter act the inhumanistic creatures acting just for thier identity and fundamentalism with some foreign aid and provacations.

They are having a problem getting parts. My insurance company has suggested that I contact a state's attorney because Nissan has a car on the road that they can not get parts for; speicfically the alternator. Nissan has no estemation date of when they can get one and my car has been in the shop for over a month. Nissan has refused to help with the rental (my insurance contributed to the rental for the first 30 days), and my insurance company is suggesting I talk to the Secratary of State's office. Does any one know my rights?

In the conduct of the war for 4 years we have had a little over 3,000 KIAs. During WW II we lost an average of over 8,000 KIA per month. How did we wind up with such a crop pacifists as now exists in this country. Seems like the lesson of Neville Chamberlain in England with his proclamatiom of "peace in our time", after he returned with a peace assurance from Adolph Hitler, has been forgotten.

While the military "quagmire" in Iraq was said to tip the scales of power in the U.S. midterm elections, most Americans have no idea more of their fellow citizens - men, women and children - were murdered this year by illegal aliens than the combined death toll of U.S. troops in Iraq and Afghanistan since those military campaigns began.

Though no federal statistics are kept on murders or any other crimes committed by illegal aliens, a number of groups have produced estimates based on data collected from prisons, news reports and independent research.

Twelve Americans are murdered every day by illegal aliens, according to statistics released by Rep. Steve King, R-Iowa. If those numbers are correct, it translates to 4,380 Americans murdered annually by illegal aliens. That's 21,900 since Sept. 11, 2001.
