I was born in Czech Republic (EUROPE)... I moved to US in December 1998, I was 11. My parents brought me and my older sister here on tourist visa. My dad got his driver's license and a social security number (nonworking) when we first moved here. It's been a long tour... because my parents just decided to stay here, I was a child and had no say so in this. It was not my choice to move here, and it was not my choice to break the law. I grew up in this country, I have Amerrican friends, and am in love with an amazing American boy. My parents did not take care of this like they should have. I am now 19 and just graduated high school, I want to further my education, have a job, pay taxes, vote...
After a lot of research, and a visit to a lawyer I found out the only thing to do is get married... I have a serious boyfriend... but I'm 19 and he is 20... we're just not ready for that yet...

What can I do to get right???
Thanks in advance... for anyone's advice.

While working at a restaurant, I bump into a co-worker whom I had altercations with before, I spilled water, he punch me on the face, we fought. I thought it was over after they pull us apart, and continued working (trying not to get fired). He went to the police and told them I assaulted him and I got arrested. I thought that after listening to my side of the story and talking to the witnesses (workers and customers), the police would dismiss the incident. They only took my statement but never say a word about having people to confirm my side of the incident. I was even more beat up than the other guy (he's 6'2 200 pounds. I'm 5'8 160 pounds). This happened in California. Help please.

Should other Republicans follow suit?

My husband got a ticket when a woman pulled out in front of him on an icy road..No way was he able to stop...he skidded when he applied the breaks. anyway, he hit in the back of her vehicle and recieved a ticket of failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, they agreed that they wouldnt call the cops and exchanged information...she stated at that time she didnt have insurance. When he got to work he got a phone call from the cops stating he needed to come in and fill out an accident report. They took her statement earlier and took her side of everything. My husband called her and asked her why she called them she said that her Insurence co. told her she had to file a claim. So should he do a trial by judge or jury?

There is a lot of lopsided discussion about George W. Bush by terrorist propaganda and Liberal Democrat political slander. Has anyone given thought to why Saddam baited us into thinking he had weapons of mass destruction? Could he have been shadowing Democratic trash talk to destroy George H.W. Bush politically as well as destroy the United States on various levels? Is it right for an American Political party to play that part for enemies of the United States? Will the Democrats wake up to reality?

Just 2 days after Cheney said Rumsfeld was the greatest defense secretary in history. That's what's great about our government, when a politician can say one thing today and do the exact opposite tomorrow.

You can see a larger version of the chart here. It tells a pretty compelling story -- part of a compelling story. It was produced in December, but it's missing data for the months of September, October and November of this year -- a period of increased violence, according to news reports.

Department of Defense has suddenly classified the numbers of attacks in Iraq for September through November of this year -- after providing the figures for every month since the war began. Why classify the information now? If there's a good explanation, the Pentagon isn't returning calls.

What gives?

This is a hypothetical question.I just want to know how the wold would be like.Assuming that if India became a part of China, India would submit to the Chinese capital rule rather then China becoming a Democracy. However the current Indian parliment would still have power in the parliment of the whole nation along with the Chinese leaders.Meaning that the Indian leaders would be goverment officials or be incharge of affairs in the Indian area.since Hindu majority and Bhudism majorities are somewhat similar and are corralated with each other I don' think there would be any conflict.

Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is often quoted as saying "Israel should be wiped off the map", a phrase often taken to mean genocide. And yet many people seem to ignore the full quote: "Israel should be wiped off the map like the USSR was."

Did the USSR have a genocide against them that I wasn't aware of, or is Ahmadinejad actually not talking about murdering six million Jews?

If illegal aliens that come to our country and disobey our laws are not prosecuted because it causes "hardships" for their families....does this mean that I can do whatever the F I want and not go to jail since it would cause "hardship" on my family?

I mean could I rob a bank and take all the money to make a better life for my family and not go to jail...I was only trying to make things better for my family...and if you put me in jail...what about my son? How could our government split up my family like that?

The guidance counciler at the elementary school is documenting LIES about me regarding my behavior while I'm at the school.(interacting w/ my child) I can't come up with a real motive of why she would have such ill will towards me. I'm going to lose custody of my child if I can't discredit the counciler and the school's behavior. Me and my child's Dad are divorced and they've always favored him over me. I've never understood why since he walked out on me and my child and they're aware of that. Both my child and me have both been diagnosed with ADHD. They're aware of my son's diagnosis but I've never told the school of my diagnosis. I'm inclined to think that my child's Dad has made the school aware of this and maybe this is a motive into the guidance counciler's documentation against me. As of today they told his father that I was abusing my son. His father went to court for temp.custody, Because of the schools documentation, it was granted. My son takes meds. and therapy for ADHD

Iran demanded Tuesday that the U.N. Security Council condemn what it said was Israel's clandestine development of nuclear weapons and "compel" it to place all its nuclear facilities under U.N. inspection.

If Israel refuses to comply, Iran said the council must take "resolute action" under Chapter 7 of the U.N. Charter which authorizes a range of measures from diplomatic and economic sanctions to military action.

You know, I don't normally agree with Tehran, but they do have a point. How can Israel 'flaunt' their nuclear program without UN inspections or UN Security Council sanctions when the same Security Council is threatening sanctions on Iran?
