"The current administration has offered at every turn a horrifying lesson in how not to lead. Its MO has been this: suppress dissent (rather than encourage it), surround yourself by sycophantic yes-men (rather than objective views), bring in personal loyalists for key positions (rather than people who actually know what they're doing), vilify those who disagree or propose a better way. And oh yes: accuse even long-term like-minded allies of cowardice and treachery if they don't kiss your a s s 24/7. No term of opprobrium is too low for somebody who refuses to bow to your will: that's the way to lead the Free World. (Not.)"

According to Dictionary.com, Tyrant is defined as:

1. a sovereign or other ruler who uses power oppressively or unjustly.
2. any person in a position of authority who exercises power oppressively or despotically.
3. a tyrannical or compulsory influence.
4. an absolute ruler, esp. one in ancient Greece or Sicily.

Given that our government uses checks and balances, this doesn't apply, no matter how you might feel about him.

Even though for the past six years, the congress has been of the same political party, they still have power that a President can't have, and vice versa.

Probably not a tyrant. Mis-led by some I think. Also he seems very unwilling to admit mistakes. Not a great Prez, but not inherently evil.

I think both, he is very misled by his advisers and that is why he is losing support even from his supporters. I have actually seen him do more work since the election and I wonder if he knows that his jig is up.
