If illegal aliens that come to our country and disobey our laws are not prosecuted because it causes "hardships" for their families....does this mean that I can do whatever the F I want and not go to jail since it would cause "hardship" on my family?

I mean could I rob a bank and take all the money to make a better life for my family and not go to jail...I was only trying to make things better for my family...and if you put me in jail...what about my son? How could our government split up my family like that?

I don't understand why people think that addressing the fact that coming into our country illegally is "hate talk". You are correct that when the law is broken we do not get a free pass. Why do nonresidents get a pass AND our tax monies?
This is not a statement of HATE, it is stating the facts and pointing out real problems.
Most of us immediately think of Mexicans, but there are people from all countries coming across the Mexican border and coming in, from all directions, with a visa; then getting lost. These people are illegal too, and a real threat to our safety. America is foolish to let this go on. Some are here with immigration permission and are here for the sole purpose of preaching death to America. We have to wake up real soon, or we will be destroyed us from within.

The example you used really isn't the same thing that's stirring the debate in the news. Robbing a bank will get you arrested and thrown in jail regardless if your a citizen or in the country legally.

People who are found to be in this country illegally are detained and after investigation most likely deported. Our jail system isn't really adequate to jail illegal immigrants in the same way a person that has gone through a trial and has been convicted and sentenced for a period of time. The legal system is of course tied up enough without jailing illegal immigrants.

How can you compare robbing a bank to illegal immigration !!!

You know what hardship is ... when your great grandparents killed millions of indians "to make a better place for their families", when the beat the hell out of the black slaves "to make a better place for their families"

The problem with arrogant americans like you is that they dont learn to place in others peoples shoes. When you learn to see things with a different perspective and place yourself in others peoples shoes you would not be so judging. Im sure that if you were in their shoes you would want what they want, but since that is not the case is easy to just make their life imposible.

Well, that's because you are a citizen and must be crushed with the full extent of the law. We are nice and polite to our illegal visitors.

Personally, I am all for what they are doing now - they are going town by town and sweeping the business for illegal aliens, fining the businesses and jailing the people running them, and then charging the illegal aliens with felonies and tossing them out of the country. Now with a felony on their record they can never come back into the US. I LOVE that! That is the way it should be!

Build that fence!

I agree with you and understand the analogy.Same old excuses and sympathies to condone criminal behavior.I am poor and have to feed my children, would I be allowed to help myself at the grocery store? No,because that is a crime. And since we can't split up anyones family,no one should go to jail.We as citizens have to follow a different set of rules, after all,we don't want to offend anyone. They are only here to help their families,so we should make an exception....not.

No, illegals have a hell of a lot more rights than you do . If you need any more info on this call the mayor of Los Angeles or the Governor of New Mexico. Do not forget to pay your taxes, the illegals need more services. In fact, you should probably pay them in advance since you asked that silly question. (I am going crazy too).

Here we go... When people see illegals, they immediately jump on the Hispanic bandwagon...

Illegals of any race should be subjected to the same laws that that upstanding citizens are. They are not exempt! I say, if they don't like it LEAVE. Stop draining our resources.
