I say No, Congress should cut off the funding for Iraq, tax payers should not give the Pentagon another $100 billion. If the Pentagon gets $498 billion in 2007, let them spend that. We have a $9 trillion debt projected over the next ten years. Another 40,000 troops would cost tax payers $2.6 billion in the first Year and $4 billion per year after that. More troops would just let Iraqis slack off in taking over for themselves.

I 'm interested because I'm a journalists and most often news makers become unnecessarily critical about articles that prick their conscience and question their moral authority and most time you hear such thing as " journalists are not politicians" don't be a journalist when want to be a politician

generals more and to the senators less or the other way around. I believe that the generals know what to do and how to do it and on the battlefield their word should be law. I do not think that our elected representatives have the knowledge to direct things on the battlefield and should not be telling the soldiers what to do. I think things would be better in Iraq if we let the generals do the battle planning and keep our politicians out.

There was a case recentley in the U.K of an illegal immigrant who raped a 14 year old girl and sued he was awarded £50.000 and a case of some inmates who sued and won because they were forced to go cold turkey without drugs all of this was done because they had claimed there human rights were being a abused.
Why is the human rights act why is it so open to abuse?

i m a 23 years old female would like to join the army. Since I m from Asia, I don't know many details. For example, should i go as an elist person? or join as an officer (ROTC)whatever...
And I m not sure what i can do in the army... skill? --I guess i can speak 2 languages(outside English) thats it...
I finished my education in Asia, and went to 3 years college before i came over the States.
If you are vet, or in the army... plz give me some suggestion!!
