I have to wonder if I'm the only American who questions the rationale behind the daily retaliation for 911. How can we believe that the attack on America to be wrong when we continue to attack daily? How many innocent lives must be taken before we stand up and say 'enough'? Doesn't anyone realize that we will all be included when America is judged ? "Evil flourishes when good men do nothing", but I know that the majority of us struggle just to survive trying to count our blessings to save our sanity.
Yet, as a human being I am ashamed.

Bush said he has not made up his mind about whether to send more troops to Iraq. No timetables or totals have been outlined publicly, but by some accounts roughly 20,000 troops could be added to the 140,000 already there. Maybe talking more about the draft after Christmas.

John took a 3 point shot, it bounced off the rim. The airplane landed in hot sauce, and the camel ate ice cream, when the job was done, i mean, why would this happen?

Then it started to box the monkey and later that day the phone rang and the job was in Mars, then he ran to see the lions....

war movies or those epic movies that Hollywood is producing so many of these days? If they do, what do they think about when they watch the bloodshed in these movies? Do you think Hollywood producers suffer any cognitive dissonance after they make movies like this? They must recognize that most American males get off on these movies, since they are so successful.

I notice that young people don't protest, take action, or really seem to care about issues affecting our world right a lot of times. Whenever I see a protest, it is almost always people over 30... in other words, the parents of the soldiers overseas. So, my question is: what would it take for you to take action and/or protest against the war? I know that many in generation Y are against it, but we, the young - even though we are a large portion of citizens andcould have an impact, do nothing. Would it take a draft? Would it take others starting it first?

What would it take for you?

ps: I was looking at a book on the 70's when college students were shutting down colleges in protest and it got me thinking. Sorry if it seems preachy.

They say they want to help poor people, but they call poor whites "rednecks." Why would they use such a bigotted, oppressive term?

9/11, regardless of your views on it was a tragedy unlike any we have ever seen. We all have our ways of greiving over the loss, as well as finding peace with it. Some joined the Armed Forces and are fighting the enemy overseas. Others have banded together to get evidence that it was a conspiracy by our government and aren't happy with the report issued by the government. Either way we ALL want justice for that day and we ALL have our ways of acheiving it. People ask how I deal with the criticism from back home. I understand everyones frustration. We have not gotten closure for that day and we all want answers. While I support and was involved with both wars, Iraq and Afghanistan, I understand and support all peoples opinions. Instead of bashing one another lets just search for answers in whatever way seems right to us. One way or another we will see closure. We just have to be patient. God bless you all.

My son was reported for bullying a girl. This girl liked liked him last week but when he rebuffed her it hit the fan.He was pulled from class and interragated by five teachers. Other students were also questioned. It came out that she cursed him out on school grounds but all witnesses backed him up for not bullying. He was then sent back to class. Now she has reported him again and he will be pulled from class tom. and interragated again. This girl is on meds for behavior problems already and I am not just taking my kids side. I have spoken to other kids and they have had problems with her also. Is it legal to just pull a minor in and grill him like this? How many times can this happen? What can we do?

British didn't have much trouble with any Civil wars or terrorists and kept things under fairly good control for hundreds of years and they didn't even use that many troops.

This claim was stated as a response to I Walk Funny's question. I have studied the constitution and no where have I even seen something to support this claim. It states religious freedom, yes, but specificly Christiany, I think not. Please people don't start rumors about the founding fathers intent. It makes you look really bad. Could you please get the facts correct so as not to create rumors that may embarass you?

I work in a small Optical office and a man threw me up against a wall and put his arms around me and tried to kiss me after saying some very suggestive things to me. I got away and he told me "I better not get anything that is not coming to me" and walked out. This man did not seem very educated. I also found out he tried to do this to another woman today but got away before he did anything to her. What should I do?
