now they have cards loaded w/food stamps & computer knows what theyre buying & so cant use card towards these type of items, but yes it's def sad to see that people will try to abuse the system like this

They cannot buy those items with food stamps, but they can buy shrimp,lobster,steak, and other "luxury foods". I have seen this first hand working for a grocery store, people come in after church in their fancy clothes and jewelry, buy all this expensive food on the public dime, and having it carried out to their fancy cars for them.And that makes me mad. I am not saying that some people don't need it because I have needed it before, but only used it for 2 months, It is supposed to be a hand-up not a hand-out or a way of life, and I think there should be time limits on using it for able-bodied people.

That's way messed up. Our government is providing people with to much. People need to learn to provide for themselves. If we don't we'll lose our Freedom.
Hopefully some people will come to realize this before it is to late. Thank you for informing me of this. This is the first I've heard about it, however sadly I'm not supprised.

It's messed up alright.Its like what some people did with the Katrina money they were givin to "aid them"in their troubled times.It's similar to the pimps and drug sellers who drive to their section8 housing in their Lexuses and BMW's.They play and milk the system that you and I pay for.Let's end the giveaways and make people earn it like we do!!

thats funny but then again its sad to think our tax dollars are being spent to pay for people who don't work and live off the government , buying whatever they please
