I Agree your the man we own that country we should take their guns away only police and military should have them ( it's not like they are hunting animal) if caught we should execute them on the spot ..........evoke martial law if caught doing terrorist activities cut their tendons and put them in a pen with a bunch of pigs so they can eat them alive and then air it on their national TV like they do when cutting off the heads of innocent Americans Iraq is a winnable solution Kill em All let GOD sort them out :)

YES!!!!! I have been saying this for years, and you are the first I've seen repeat the idea.
If we want to "free" Iraq, lets do it right. We should annex the country and make Iraq a U.S. territory like Alaska once was. If we do it according to the principals lined out in Machiavelli's The Prince, we will allow the Iraqi citizens to keep all their former laws and customs. In the meantime, there should be incentives for Americans to emigrate over to Iraq and start businesses. Also, there will be Best Buys and Subways around Baghdad and other cities. They may be slow to adopt the American way of life at first, but once they get their hands on Playstation 3s and American DVDs, they will come around. No one can resist the opiate pull of American entertainment and fast food. They will willingly assimilate into American culture within a decade.

Neo-cons beat ya too that thought. They decided it wouldn't fly so now their just gonna make a couple small provinces with American sovereignty. The Green Zone, All lands around oil fields, that humongous embassy their building that dwarfs the Vatican, and a couple small military bases.

No, colonizing Iraq would be economical suicide. Plus the domestic politics alone would drive anyone insane. For instance, the christian-secuar arguments we see in everyday politics, imagine if islam were thrown into the mix. Sorry, bad idea.
