A month ago, I said something at work that offended another employee. I said F***. I was verbally reprimanded by my direct supervisor, the next level supervisor and a regional supervisor the following day. I also was asked to apologize to the offended co-worker, which I of course did with all sincerity.
Today, the operations director decided to read me the riot act and cojolled me into an arugment over professionalism. He asked me if I still wanted to work there and I told him I wasn't sure after his tyrade today. He then sent me home for the day w/pay.
Was he wrong or should I have groveled at his pointy little feet like a sloth?

I have to be honest...I try...I really do. I know as a Christian it is not right for me to be against anyone that is moving to this country to find a better life.

But I just can't do it. I think that it is wrong. WRONG WRONG WRONG....

Is there anyone else that is having this same problem? I know what they did is wrong...but I also feel that as a Christian that it is my duty to love and accept all people. But, I just can't.

He's an actor, not an expert on global warming. Why do these Hollywood types think they have to have a "cause"? Are they that insecure in their chosen career? Do they feel useless? Do he and Oprah and Rosie feel better now that thousands of you agree with them? Meryl Streep thinks she's an expert on the apple growing industry. Congress actually let her testify, and it turned out she didn't have a clue what she was talking about. Why do so many of you try to boost their egos even further by responding to their questions? I know it's asking a lot, but I would prefer to hear from people with common sense.

there's no excuse for not knowing . Several networks, both Rep and Dem, did very thorough documentaries about Radical Islam !!!

All estimates said that of the 1.3 Billion Muslims, 10-15% were followers of Radical Islam . Small percentage ?? No Way !!
That's over 100 Million followers of Radical Islam/Terrorists !!!
And have you seen their TV shows.. . . have you ?? They teach little children to blow themselves up and kill as many 'infidels' as possible !!! Everyone who has SEEN these programs, like me, knows that I'm being truthful !!
Cmon man.. . .. . . You'll understand why we're so passionate about this AFTER you see it for yourselves !!!!!!

i am a home health aid. i take care of elderly people! i have never had a problem and i started doing this when i was 18! two weeks ago i was arrested and i was accused of forgery and theft on the 4 degree! i went to jail for 2 days and my bail was 3500 dollars. i have to o to court tomorrow and i dont know what to expect i've never been arrested in my whole intire life. at the precint i plead guilty but am not! the detective told me that no one would believe a 21 yearold against an 88 year old lady. i was soo stupid thinking that pleading guilty would make everything go away. how can this lady do this to me. i am desperate i dont have a lawyer because i dont have any money! i dont want to go to jail! please tell me what do you think about this and my probabilities of of jail. thank u for listening to my problem.

yesterday my boyfriend went to jail because he failed to do his community service hours monthly. he has the correct amount of hrs, he just did not do them each month. he also has court fees to pay in which he hasnt payed any of them since he was first put on probation in may. how long will they keep him in jail for this and will they send him to tdc( the penatentery) for his 1st violation?
