I've run into a situation where my physical privacy was compromised at a technician 's hand. When I finally confronted the "technician" she lied. What can I do?

Speak to someone higher up in the facility about the incident. There should be someone who is in charge of privacy/HIPPA. They can tell you more information about your options, like filing a formal complaint or something or reprimanding the employee for her behavior.

Patient privacy is actually a very small portion of the HIPPA act. And it does not pertain to "physical privacy." It applies to privacy of patient information.
I'm not quite sure what occured in your situation, but (assuming it occurred in a hospital) I would contact administration and ask to speak to somone in quality management. They can inform you of the hospital's specific patients' bill of rights (which is usually required by law to be posted in the facility).

Try contacting the hospital administrator or patient advocate. If you feel nothing was done to rectify the situation go the states attorney general.

Your utter lack of details makes your question unanswerable.

HIPPA inversely protects health care providers as well as patients. Unless a criminal act occurred, odds are you have no standing.
