i know its a branch of the military but what do they do? my bf wants to join and i think that anything in the military is too dangerous

Lately, ICE has been tasked with raiding businesses that knowingly hire hire illegal aliens.

I do not think this is a particularly dangerous job. In my estimation, it is less dangerous than being a police officer because ICE agents work as teams. They are not the DEA that shoots it out with drug smugglers, they are not cops who get shot at for pulling over the wrong speeder, they are not firefighters who have burning buildings collapse on them... in general, it's a less dangerous form of service to the nation.

I was told it is what you would put next to your mom or dad's name in your cell phone, etc so that emergency personnel would know who to contact if you were hurt-etc. ICE-Mom-ICE In Case of Emergency...
