I have to be honest...I try...I really do. I know as a Christian it is not right for me to be against anyone that is moving to this country to find a better life.

But I just can't do it. I think that it is wrong. WRONG WRONG WRONG....

Is there anyone else that is having this same problem? I know what they did is wrong...but I also feel that as a Christian that it is my duty to love and accept all people. But, I just can't.

For one thing you are human, and that is why we need Christ to save us from our human faults (sins). It is OK for you to have these feelings (I do also). For the one poster saying she is not a real Christian stop casting stones we are all sinners dude! Also you can still love people but hate the things that we do that are wrong (steal, lie, adultery, fornication, break laws etc). Don't feel to bad just pray to God for help and pray that our government leaders will wake up one day to resolve this issue we have in our country. Also again for that other poster who said she is not a real Christian I will pray for you personally. God Bless and peace out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The thing that gets most people is the illegal aspect and I am assuming that's where you are at. I am a Christian as well. But I have had it with all of the supporters for these criminals playing the race card. It is hard to be sympathetic when you are being attacked every single day on some level by people who think the laws do not apply to them. I could care less where people come from as long as they come here legally. Don't let the illegals supporters get to you. Just pray for yourself and the people who think that they can do whatever they wish and not answer for it. You and I both now that they will have to answer for it one day. The only time where Christ said to ignore the law of man is when it is direct conflict with the law of God.

I'm just fine with anyone coming into the US as long as they're here for a better life.

I don't like the words "illegal immigrant". For anyone who's strongly against illegal immigration, you should know that 200+ years ago, your ancestors were illegal immigrants too. They illegally settled on Native American land. So technically, your great great great . . .grandparents are illegal immigrants too. Consider that.

"I also feel that as a Christian that it is my duty to love and accept all people. But, I just can't."

It's a shame that you're so selfish. I must say, you're not being a good Christian right about now. . .What have they done to you? Have they stolen from you? Are they threatening your life? What is it?

REASONS WHY I DON'T MIND (illegal or legal) IMMIGRATION:

-Most of the immigrants are hard working
-They fill in jobs that most Americans don't want
-Different races coming in to intermix is good for the gene pool (prevents interbreeding)
-Good for the economy
-I could go on but I don't feel I need to

My only beef with immigration is that some immigrants have a hard time assimilating. But for the most part they adapt pretty quickly. Unless they move to an area where most of the people are of their own race/culture and they find no reason to assimilate.

I may disagree with a lot of people posting here, but o well, i am very pro inmigration, REALLY i dont really care if people from FRENDLY parts of the world apply and finally get approval to como to my country and make a better living for themselfs and integrate into our way of life, i think that is all good and even positive for our nation, for instance i remember when i was in basic training at Fort Benning GA and saw so many people from diferent nationalities trying to serve in our military, it was a great feeling knowing that they are greatful enoguh to be here that they would serve. But that just makes legal alliens more AMERICAN,

u can love all people but not accept what they do.. I don't accept rapist, child molestors and murderers either..does that make me a bad person..I am a Christian butd that doesn't mean I am perfect nor do I have to like sin.. I don't like what they are doing to our country at all but I am not racist nor do I hate them..I hate what they are doing.. I don't feel sorry for them..There are people here in America who have it just as bad if not worse than they do (or say they do) but they deserve the welfare and free stuff...they paid the taxes for it..and some of them can't get welfare...a lot of Americans deserve a better life..a lot of American children deserve a better life..no you are not wrong..by any means.

God and anthing or anyone else love all of you. This issue is not about God. Nor is it about religion. It is about law and order.
We have seperation of church and state in this country. And that's for a good reason.
Also, the issue isn't abou them coming here to be legal, It is about hem coming here, and being ILLEGAL. There is a bonified structure in place that allows 50% of AMerican LEGAL immigrants to be Mexican. Apparently that is not enough for some who would rather crash the party, step in front of their brothers and sisters from Mexico, and come here illegally.
If you have been to Mexico, you will know how they are mostly all about line crashing.. Many poorer Mexicans are not civilized on the same level as many are in first world countries. To wit: our ourageous rate for crime in the last 5 years. 40% of our prison felons are Mexican or generally hispanic. So many numbers tell the tale, Currenty, B. Boxer is launching a campaign against staggering Ag losses to theft and fraud. Billion of dollars are being lost to 'someone" who is stealing produce, farm equip. etc. Where did you say those Mexican "pickers" work? Yes, the Ag biz. I don't REALLY know who is doing that particular crime but I don't think it's rockert science to have a good idea.
Those felons in prison HAVE been convicted in a court of law. And they are MOSTLY illegal Mexicans. Consider drugs. Cosider health care fraud etc.. We all know who is doing this.
I personally have not problem with ANYONE coming here to get ahead etc. blah, blah, blah but if they come to where the kill the goose that laid the golden egg and they do so illegally. We are going to stop them. Or, in the end, they will stop all of us.
It's great to be charitable but it's foolish to be stupid. There are some "religious" saying about that as well. And most of them warn against geing foolish and unbalanced in one' application in the beliefs of the creator. Whoever you may worship.

Religion has nothing to do with Immigration. ou are mixing your religious beliefs with political issues.
Illegal immigrants come to this country to work and feed their families or send money back home, and try to make a better life for their families. A good percentage of them do not wish to become legal residents (although it would make their life a lot easier)
If you cannot accept EVERYONE as your religion says you should, then your are not a true christian.

It would appear that you are a good person. Illegal Immigrants are just what the word "illegal" means. They have gone aganist our laws.
There is no reason for you to accept the illegal actions of another person.

One thing you must remember as a Christian is we can fuss and fight all day long about whether or not the illegals should be here but the fact of the matter is our duty is to tell them about Jesus. If they don't speak our language we should support someone who speaks their language to tell them.

I too can't accept illegal immigrants. I have no problem with people wanting to come and live in our country, but they have to do it legally. I see nothing for you to be guilty about. Yes they came here for a better life, but they should have done it correctly.
