They are having a problem getting parts. My insurance company has suggested that I contact a state's attorney because Nissan has a car on the road that they can not get parts for; speicfically the alternator. Nissan has no estemation date of when they can get one and my car has been in the shop for over a month. Nissan has refused to help with the rental (my insurance contributed to the rental for the first 30 days), and my insurance company is suggesting I talk to the Secratary of State's office. Does any one know my rights?

well, first off I would look at the service warranty and if they are violating that, you have a rock solid case. If they aren't, look at the dealer paperwork when you bought the car. As for your rights, I would contact a state attourny, as such laws vary from state to state. Contacting a lawyer would be your best bet.
