Do they not speak out against these criminals that give the religion and the people who follow it a bad name. The world did not let Hitler go unchecked because he was a believer in extreme Christianity, so why do the Muslims let these radicals that do it in the name of Islam go unchecked?

John S, my source is my firsthand peek at the Muslim faith and how they regard us. Nothing peaceful about it. You are well versed and we will never agree so I say lets agree to disagree yes?

Lots of disagreement, but good answers nonetheless. Thank you all for your opinions, and for respecting mine, except for the first answerer.

Lol Hitler?! They were 6 million Jews too late! And then you say it's somehow our falt that some idiots are killing in the name of our religion. And if you really think about it there has been very little terrorism lately. 911 and maybe a couple other things have been stretched out over and over for like 6 years now. I have more of a chance of getting struck by lightning than a terrorist, soo Im not gonna live in a constant unjustified worry for my life. And mind you, Muslims have been doing so damn much to make up for the weirdos that share the same religion. We condemn Osama just like you condemn Hitler (who lead the largest, religious genocide ever) Im tired of this sh*t of ppl blamin it on us. Im tired of us having to say "were peaceful" over and over with no one listening. Im tired of the terrorists who abuse and embarrass the religion of Islam. Anyway, peace. Im out.

Actually, the world let Hitler go unchecked for a quite awhile before anyone stepped in. In the end it was because Hitler was invading and bombing too many countries for anyone to be comfortable, not because of any great moral outrage over treatment of the Jews. It's actually a pretty sordid history.

And, there are Muslims that speak out against Islamic fundamentalists.

Islam is a complicated crew of human beings. diverse communities stress diverse beliefs from the Koran. like the Bible, in case you're taking particular passages actually or interpret them particularly ideas, it could be used to justify violence and hatred. i imagine maximum Muslims opt for peace and co-lifestyles. the a number of communities look fairly doctrinaire and rigid, yet then so do somewhat Christian communities. it is going to no longer be area of the subculture as an example or protest adverse to others who profess Islam. There are some outspoken Muslims who publicly disagree with extremism. i imagine the media is slow to talk about those who do protest. They flow to this point in attempting to seem impartial that they are actual biased in the different route!

The pope himself did not dare to speak out against Hitler as he feared the assets of the holy Roman Church would end up in the Nazi war machine.

Mussolini controlled Rome not the Vatican.

Fundamentalist Moslems destroyed the world trade center and fundamentalists Christians kill Doctors.

Ignorance and Fundamentalism is the devil that has risen its dangerous head in our world and if man does not gain his sanity and ignore the superstition of religion the world will perish because of it.

If so much Muslim outrage is present, as some claim, why not a mob of Islamists protesting suicide bombers?

Or filling the Western press with accounts of rioting in the name of ending kidnapping and murder?

Hitler was an occultist-btw..... he expired not just Jews but Christians, atheists, anyone that opposed him.

Because moderate Muslims these days are extreeeeemely rare. They have a very fed-up attitude towards us (the West). And besides, we (America) openly support Israel. As so long as we have ties with Israel, we will have 1 billion enemies. They HATE Israel.

When it comes to condemnation of autrocities, there many terrorist groups who actually they themselves condemn Al-Qaeda because of their willingness to kill innocent Muslims.

Hate for the West and America in particular has a HUGE backing from the rest of the world.

There are two types of people in Islam, some read it with in eye to justify violence, while others read it with in eye for peace, Islam feasts both eyes, we all see and hear what we want to, this aptly applies here. Islam talks about killing jews, christians and relatives who are not muslims, beating wives, while on the other hand it talks about giving charity. Choose what you want to go to heaven!

I couldn't agree with you more, Sarge!

And for those of you who don't read history books, Hitler quoted writings by Martin Luther to justify his hatred of the Jews.
