What are some symbols that represent Hitler? Like the swastika for example, leader of the nazis. I'm doing homework and need 25 symbols and I already have 12, but I'm having trouble thinking of more symbols that symbolize him. Any ideas from you guys? I'll more than appreciate it.

The Iron Eagle was one....it was a symbol on most buildings and on their uniforms.

His mustache was also a symbol...of sorts. You could draw a circle with his mustache and everyone would know it was Hitler

German Shepard's are another, Hitler owned several and even gave his loyal dog poison right before he shot himself. There are several pictures of Hitler next to his German Shepard's.

Black, Red and White were three colors the Nazi's used and they represented the third Reich...the colors were everywhere, flags, uniforms, building, posters....etc.

brown (and black) uniforms for SA & SS respectively

Military marches, fanfares, flag-waving, militaristic, Pan-German chauvinism

Lots of propaganda and brainwashing

Dictature repression

SS, RSHA and GESTAPO

in later years: this trembling body, shaking right arm, his premature ageing

Ominous phrases like Nacht Und Nebel, Blitzkrieg, Endlösing, Sippenhaft, Blut Und Boden, Meine Ehre Heiszt Treue, Lebensraum, Undermenschen & Ubermenschen, Heil Hitler, Mein Führer, Ein Volk, Ein Reich, Ein Führer, Gleichstaltung (lit. "making things equal", in practice abolishment of unions and political parties), Einsatzkommando, the Bohemian Corporal, Gröfaz, Groszdeutschland, Festung Europa, Atlantikwall...

Führerprinzip (there's only one boss)

Concentration and extermination camps

Focus on military prowess

Autobahnen

Bad, rigid military thinking

The Axis pact (with Italy, Japan, Finland, Rumania, etc),...

Bad paintings

A somewhat mysterious death in his bunker in Berlin (or not? :))

Jackboots

Arrogance

Pink triangles

Mass-killing of 'undesireables' and of course Jews

Aversion towards Junkers / aristocracy

A great memory for detail

Note that Charlie Chaplin had the moustache before Hitler. Chaplin was extremely popular in his time, beyond what we could imagine. Hitler liked him too and copied the moustache.

Other symbols? Starving people in concentration camps.

The yellow arm band. broken windows on stores. piles of cloths, gold teeth, cloths, shaved heads standing in showers naked. you prob. have some of these.
