Do you think that America is trying to stop labor workers from immigrating into America? If you were to look at US immigration study guides you will notice the they are beginning, and going to become more strict. It seems as if America is trying to shift immigration to scholors, or potential scholars only.

Some of the new laws for immigration are pointing towards people who have had access to a top of the line education. The knowledge that must be known is beyond that of any average citizen you will find in a public school.

Most education Visa immigrants I know are going to go back to their country after they get their college education.

Fact.

The need for unskilled labor is less than in the past. But skilled workers are very much in demand.

With more unskilled workers than there are jobs, the unemployed will sponge off the government, and won't be productive members of society.

Curious that Bush, just today, signed off on 32,000 more student visas for Saudi applicants.... this didn't make many news reports.

I don't find it wrong that America seeks educated immigrants. We provide many people of the world opportunities they will find nowhere else.

Your recounting of personal experience concerning those immigrants that sought education here, then promptly left , rings most true.
