In specifics, I am watching the news and it seems that George W. Bush isn't listening to the people anymore. Even after the election in November, he still cannot come in terms that the Iraq war is a disaster.

I was using the war in Iraq as a specific example.

I think he heard the people, he fired Rumsfield, and he called in the millitary people to get their imput, he also has been talking to Iraqi leaders. The trouble is he is taking bad advice again and is going to send in more troops. Some say we should and some say we shouldn't so, I guess that both you and me will have to wait and see what happens, I hope I am wrong and more troops will do the trick. But I am afraid I will be right and we should pull the troops out now.

So what do you think he should do? Pull out or send in more troops. You know a lot of Americans voted in November but none of them actually gave a solution to the problem. He has repeatedly stated on the news that things are not going good in Iraq, (who's not listening now). But we can not show weakness to the terrorists by leaving Iraq to them.. Iraq has a lot of oil that the Muslim extremists could use to fund their terrorism if we just walk out. You sound like you would have President Bush just call for a complete surrender. All things in life do not come easy.

Who they listen to are the lobbyists and those that have the money/clout to get them re-elected.
Ever ask how can we vote every 4 years for a president who is usually someone we don't know anything about and the promises they make are predictably broken and what we do or do not know about what is really going on in this great country of ours is still censured. We are told what they want us to know, no more no less and heaven forbid something leaks out...the finger pointing and cover-ups make your head spin.

This has been a consistent problem with Bush throughout his presidency.

I don't know why:
- Is it that he is not really the one in charge making the decisions?
- Is it that he believes everyone else is an oblivious moron?
- Is it that he still believes God talks to him personally and he is doing God's will?

Take your pick... I have no clue why he refuses to get a clue.

I know that it can NOT be that he believes he is making us safer. There was a report by his own administration last month stating that the Iraqi war had increased and will continue to increase terrorism. So, unless he doesn' know how to read, it can not be for that reason.

Whether it's George Bush or your next door neighbor, if you don't want to acknowledge a fat then you close off your ears and mind whenever an opposing or inconvenient fact comes along. Unfortunately it's human nature and more so for those that seek power over others (most politicians).

It's not his job to listen. It's his job to watch our a$$es. I assure you that he knows more about the war in Iraq than you or any reporter or actor you've seen on television. It's hip to be against the war because Rosie O'Donnell says it is. Why would the president listen to anyone who is less informed than him? If you pay attention, you'll find that the few people who DO know about it are the people he does listen to.

He doesnt want to hear what the citizens have to say. After all, he is the "great decider". I dont even watch news on television any more because they only tell you what the government wants them too.

Have you been to Iraq? How do you know its a disaster? Do you listen to the liberal biased media? They are all doom and gloom about Iraq. I have family and friends serving in Iraq right now, there are very few places where violence and shooting are taking place. Do some reseach before posting here.

Who would you have give him advise, those lying, backstabbing, liberals that went and met with the terrorists in SYRIA, i think you need to do a little research with the troops before you ask questions meant to incite anger!!
