So? He is terrible. He didn't do anything good for the country or the troops (they had to rig their vehicles using scrap metal because they didn't get proper equipment, while private contractors working over there were getting paid 10 times as much for doing the same work), him and Bushie cut veterans benefits, and all he did was resign because he knew to get out while the getting was good.

PS: Look at the website, .MIL Like you think the military is going to be TRUTHFUL? LOL! YEAH, RIGHT! I was in the army, I know better. Dumsfeld is a disgrace to this country and the world, especially Iraq who was attacked only because of the personal vendetta Poppy Bush had against Saddam.

Impressive resume indeed. He was successful in everything including his first stint as Sec. Def but failed miserably as the oldest Defense secretary in history.
