Both my turtle and fish live in the same tank (10 gallon). They have coexisted for nearly a year, and quite peacefully. The turtle no longer eats worms, crickets, or brine -- he only wants to eat the fish flakes. Is this normal? Neither of them seem to be growing but they are otherwise healthy and playful.

my two turtles shells are usually very colourful, but today i noticed they were really pale and looked kind of dry. are they shedding them or something?

also, i had them in a plastic bowl about a month ago when i first got them and one got out and fell to the ground. she appeared fine, but a little stunned. now the other one has grown a lot but she has barely grown. would that have something to do with the fall?ta x

i have a 10month old water dragon and when I handle her she thrashes at first then calms down. Only problem is her claws are quite sharp and have started cutting me quite badly. She doesnt do it maliciously but its starting to be a pain and makes handling again hard as the cuts are sore.

Has anyone else had this or has any advice to help?

Why does my red eared slider have algae or something growing on his shell? It also grows on his rock, but not as bad. It doesn't grow anywhere else but on his shell and the rock.
We have a good filter, clean his tank, his rock, use a water conditoner, and even scrub his shell, but it grows right back.
Sometimes my cat will get on top of his tank and lay there for the warmth, could this be why? Would cat fur affect a turtle?
Please help. I feel bad for my poor turtle.
Heres a picture, so you can see what I'm talking about.

So i just bought a little red eared slider about 2 inches long, and we had one of those little tanks that came along with it, as well as those little tiny food pellets.

is there anything else it needs as of now? I am going to be buying a bigger tank and such as it gets older, but for now, i can only keep it in the little tank it came in.

Would love to get a few tips.
