are they around 1 year old?

the mating ritual is like a territorial thing the beard turns black head bobbing begins running around alot etc. then the male will usually bite the females neck place himself sideways and do the deed. less than 2 minutes. I have it filmed if you are really interested. this time of year as they come out of Brumation/hibernation they should be active as heck anyway. and ready to breed my girl has allready had 2 clutches. if everything in your tank/cage is setup correctly and diet is not a problem. I would resex them paying very close attention to the pics I will link you too. also the males head should be noticeably bigger than the females and I have never seen a females beard go black. grey yes but not like a lump of coal. I have a female named david because a professional sexed it for me and well guess what he wasn't perfect and made a mistake. two females will most defenately lay next to each other so will two males and a male and a female. it's a social thing. the ast is actually pretty violent so when it seems they are not getting along thats when it will happen. also get all your stuff together for the eggs your hovabator etc. test it out for 2 weeks min. so you can keep humidity and temp correct decide if you want to use perilite, vermiculite or some other medium for the eggs. I use perilite you can get it at ace hardware for 3 bucks. vermiculite I had to buy from u-line and in 10lb bags. you ever seen 10 lbs of vermiculite. holy cow I could populate the U.S. with 10lbs. set up your incubator exactly as you will with the moist medium and everything then watch it make sure all goes well have at least 2 temp sensing sources available the thermometer that came with my hovabator was 10 degrees off and cooked my first clutch. anyways go to the website scroll down and hold your dragons the same way look for the hemipenal bulges. e-mail me if you need any other pictures or if I can be of any other service.

Right now it's not really breeding season, soon enough tho they'll probably start going at it. beardies are notoriously easy to breed, as long as the temps are in the correct range and they are healthy they'll breed when it's breeding season.

Get a rubbermaid box and fill it with peat moss or even play sand. When the female lay's transfer the egg's to an incubator. DO NOT turn the egg's, the part of the egg facing up when laid needs to stay that way.

Look up some websites for better breeding info.

they are together they will eventually breed. you need to put a cat litter box in their cage and fill it with sand, the female will dig around in it and lay eggs eventually. after she lays her eggs you will have to remove the eggs carefully (they are verry verry vragile) then put them in an incubater with some gardening soil and some paper towels. you will have to mist them with a spray bottle every day(one of those days youl find that they start to hatch) Its important that you DO NOT HELP THEM they can do it on their own. well i hope i helped you. oh and to tell if the breeding pair is ready to breed the male dragon will have a dark collored chin. well i hope i helped you.
