Ive already had one, his name was Tippy, he passed away a few weeks ago. He really was my moms and well she has been really sad ever since he died so my aunt , my sister, and i are suprising her and buying her 2. They are supposed to arrive tomorrow from Canada. So if you have any name suggestions on names or anything can you tell me.

im going on vaation 2morrow and i have a red eared slider. im going to be gone for four days and i can't bring my turtle with me. can it live for four days without food? if not, is there anything i can do. i need a fast answer because like i said i'm leaving2morrow.

I feed silkworms to lizards and I have been getting them from suppliers that buy the eggs from China. There has been some problems with viruses from there and I understand the eggs from Japan do not have any problems, but they are more expensive. Does anyone know if there is a supplier of Japanese silkworm eggs in the US?

One of my turtles has stopped eating about two weeks ago. This was after we had them out of the tank and put them back in. He was swimming around as if he wanted to get out. Could he be trying to hibernate (the tank is heated).

Why has he stopped eating and is there any way that I can get him to start eating again? I feel that his health may be in danger and he could die.

i havent had him for a very long time. i didn't know any thing was wrong with my turtle, but when i went online to get more info on it, i noticed all the turtles had bright red ears!!! i read alot of the health issues turtles can have but i didnt find anything on turtles not haveing bright red ears. my turtle has like a faded orange , peachy color. he has white spots on his shell but i found out who to deal with that. can that be why his ears arent as red?? im worried
