Reptiles - June 2006

I live in South Texas, and although I have access to all the red-eared sliders I could ever want, I want land turtles only.
Then, as they grow, I can make a pen for my back yard for them. But I want to start out with babies. I am an adult, and I have several pets that are well cared for.

I have a Cobalt Blue Tarantula. She is aggresive, and posionous. I have had her almost a year. I have cleaned it once, but she was very aggresive afterwards. I am planning to put her in a new tank, and was wondering what would be the best way to clean/ make her "comfy" in her new home. Also, any items I may find for her tank to be more comfortable in her home would be nice. Serious answers PLEASE.

She seemed much cleaner and much happier afterwards, swimming the length of the tank like she was a new turtle. Plus, does anyone have any hints how to keep a turtle clean, or if this is even necessary?

I'm feeding my res with commercial food pellets that have vitamin c and my res is not showing any symptoms that he is sick aside from having a chalky stool. I'm just worried that there is something wrong with it.

I want a pretty big one that isn't venomous. My parents would like a snake that does not eat rodents. Is this possible? I don't want one bigger than 4 feet.

I want to put a small turtle in my 50 gallon fish aquarium with my gold fish and algea eater. will the turtle eat my fish. I am talking about a turtle no longer than my index finger or about two to three inches long. Will it eat my fish. I think the kind I am talking about is called a red bellied or something like that. If you know what kind I am talking about tell me will it eat my gold fish if put in the same tank?
