Bought a baby python and 4 days later its dead by no fault of mine. I've raised them for years and never had a problem. Pet store now tells me, By the way theres only a 24hr warranty. WTF, you'd think you could tell if something was going to die in 24 hrs and not purchase it.

I was just out walking in my backyard and there is a huge black snake out there. He didn't move when I walked near, but did't try and bite or strike either. I looked it up online, and I think it's a rat snake. I know they aren't poisonous, so should I just let him be? My dog has free run of the yard and I don't want him to get bitten, but the fact that this snake is back there catching mice is nice too...any suggestions?

I am looking for a decent place to spot alligators. Alligator farms, anything, I don't really want to travel to far down towards the everglades.

i have a veiled/yemen chameleon and she wants more exercise so i thought to get her a big house plant to climb on, i know they don't eat them but does that mean that all of them are ok for her to climb on? at the moment i've got her a scindapsus mosspole, i know yucca is ok but they're not very leafy so she can't hide if she wants.

I found it this evening. It is very small. Do you know of a website that I can go to for pictures to see what kind it is? And advice on caring for it. Please help. Only answer if you really have an answer, not just for points. Thanks. I hope I listed this in the right category. 10 points for best answer! I do not have a pond, just grass and sand in the yard. Hope it isn't a snapping turtle!
