East African side neck turtle a box turtle whatever u want to call it. he only eats them floating pellets when he is taking his daily water bath. i put all kinds of diffrent food i must have bout about 200 dollars worth of all kinds of food in the last 8 months and he will go 4 5 days and will finally touch it but only a few bites. he has always been a house turtle and the lady i got him from gave me food when i got him he was eating that but only a bite or so until i gave him them pellets now he refuses to eat anything but them . is this ok for him to just keep eating them and nothing else or should i keep trying to force him to eat other stuff.

ok i always kiss my turtles shell at night before i put him to bed. I read some where that they carry something i dont remember what it was but am i harming myself in anyway giving him a kiss on the shell at night? i know i am not hurting him...

ok i got a kind of stupid question... Can turtles hear? do they understand diffrent voices.. just wondering because i always talk to my turtle and everyone looks at me like what the heck is she doing..lol i take my turtle for car rides which he loves he like climing all over the car. anyway he is a East African Side-neck Turtle....

I have 97 snakes living wth too. I say too because I have rats living with me too. Ok, the snakes sleep in the bed with me. They have their own beds. How doI train them to get out of the bed with me.

A tiny turtle just walked into our house. I have no idea where it came from since the river is a long way from here. I know nothing about turtles but it's really cute and so small about 2 inches wide and long. i put it in a little bowl with water and it started swimming but now it's not doing much.
So could anyone tell me the basics about turtles where should it live, what does it eat??

hey
currently i dunno if i have a turtoise or turtle but it hase kind of inclined spikes kind of on its back
and its shell is not in a flat shape
now tell me can i keep it in my aquarium or put a standin the aquarium to surface for the pet??
and can i feed it fish food???

East African Side-neck Turtle?
Now are these turtles only found in east africa???? because i am pretty sure my cletis is a african side neck turtle. i downloaded pictures and it is like a twin to him same color same shell same everything.

I have a 2 year old bearded dragon who will not eat anything and hardly moves around his cage. Last week I added some new sand too his cage and it was the same color as he had so i don't think it was the sand. But I also used some windex on the glass. I am not sure what is wrong with him. Please help my son and I love this dragon and do not have a lot of money to take him to the vet.

I live in Colorado Springs, Colorado, and I havent been able to locate any breeders in my area so I search the classifieds, other than kingsnake.com ... fauna classifieds ... repticzone .... reptilemarket/reptile auctions, adpost ... domesticsale .... yahoo classifieds .... american classifieds ... and online breeders/deelers like bob clark and albino burmese.com where can i search, I prefer to stick to the classifieds as they are usually cheaper.
