Yes, all turtles have ears and can hear low sounds. They do not have external ears like us, but they are sensitive to certain vibrations and frequencies (low ones).

I had a tort once that when it heard me come to the basement, it would perk up and follow me around in the pen.

Their hearing is not as good as their eyesight, which they depend on most.

Reptiles in general do not have external ears (although some groups have earholes or other indications of where the internal ear is), and tortoises follow this rule.

They DO however, have internal ears that are pretty well developed- they just don't seem to react to any audible stimuli- jsut to vibrations they pick up though the shell and bones.

Well I' think that they do have an opening 9rather 2 openings) in the head through which sound could be received and thus heard. They however do not have ear lobes also known as pinna. And therefore the question should be weather they have ear lober or not......
