What do they call our American Toad in Europe ?

Bofo amacaranius. [SP?] at least that is the scientific name for it.

I'd imagine American Toad in English-speaking countries or some translation of that in French, Spanish, Italian, etc. We still call German Shepherds 'German' in America, do we not?

But, in international terms, the scientific term for the American Toad is Bufo americanus.

Well since its AMARICAN FROG-it wouldnt be in Europe now would it?
