I would be a chameleon and change colors and stick out my tongue and catch flies. I would have so much fun. And, I would be the mascot for a life insurance company.

I'm not sure if the eggs are fertile. Is there a way to tell? Do turtles often lay eggs that are not fertile?

I want to know if I need to incubate them.

I have yet to set up a nesting area since she lives in an aquarium with a rock basking area. Any tips on what to do to get her to lay her eggs? Nesting with sand/soil good enough? Should I leave her in the sand/soil? For how long?

Any tips on creating a nesting area in an aquarium?

Will she lay the all her eggs once she starts?

What should I do with the eggs after she lays them? Where do I buy the equipment to incubate the eggs?

Thanks in advance!

My gopher pet snake tends to relieve himself in a corner of the cage where it's really hard to clean up, is there any way I could get him to do it somewhere else?

I have had turtles and a Chinese water dragon for pets. Sherman (female) lived to be about 5 years old and grew to 28" (mostly tail). I am ready to try another reptile but haven't quite decided on what to get. I have always loved bearded dragons because of their personality. I have also heard good and bad things about adult iguanas...some seem to be good pets but have also heard horror stories (especially about bites and wounds from their tails). I would like to let my new pet free roam, but maybe not because I also have 2 cats. My cats got along fine with Sherman, who had free roam and stayed mostly in her tree or on her favorite shelf when she wasn't in her cage. I am fairly knowledgable about the proper care of reptiles. I think now it's just a personality thing of the reptile I choose. Any thoughts on which I should choose?

We just got a 4 month old iguana. I've read alot of different things on the internet concerning their diets. I know no lettuce even though both pet stores I went to were feeding them lettuce. My question is, are the following foods alright for my iguana.

Carrots
Grapes
Apples
Spinach
Cucumbers
Green peppers
Tomatoes
Green Beans
Onions
Bananas
Strawberries
Peas
Broccoli
