I once raised tadpoles. I started them on boiled egg yolk which I strained through a cloth (they were very small when I got them) When they reached about 2mm in size I switched them over to fish flakes that I crushed to more manageable size. I also occasionally crushed small bits of lettuce leaves for them.

A good food source is lettuce. Boil it for 10-15 min, you can freeze it and shred a little at a time for them & never use water from the tap unless you let it sit out in the sun for 1 or 2 days for the chemicals to evaporat.

Boil little piecesof letuce, take them out, cool them, and then feed them to your tadpoles. just put a piece of boiled letuce in the water and they should eat it. also Fish flakes, and meal worms would work ( Meal worms and letuce though are they best.). These are what i used to feed my Tadpoles.

Plenty of its natural water source to swim in...not tap water if possible....get water for them from where you got them.
