This is the BEST book about keeping and breedings freshwater turtles. It covers set-up, care, and catresheets for all the most common and cool breeds. It's written in simple language and it has great pics. It's good for a beginner or advanced keeper. It's pricey, but the BEST turtle care book in my collection. Don't waste yuor money on the little $10-12 you buy at Petco and Petsmart. They are useless.

I have never seen any and I've done some pretty exrtensive research on the care of reptiles. Try going to a reptile blog/chatroom like www.reptichat.com and they will definately give you the information you need to know.
