YES. Snakes are very sensitive to vibration and some use vibration to locate prey items.Ball pythons are notorious for going off of food....don't give yours a reason.
In comparison....if you were outside and a large truck went by the rumble would bother you?At the very least you would look?Or how about a train...or an earthquake(don't know how loud or what kinda music you listen to) If you can lay on the floor with your arms streched out over your head and feel the vibrations of your music.....your snake can feel them too.Do yourself and the snake a favor and keep it down.....Z

no, snakes do not have ears, they have a sort of "vibration detector" they do not have any hearing, and if so not in the way you would think of it...just dont have its cage close to the sterio system/ wht ever is emiting the music and he should be fine, if you need any tips what so ever my e-mail is firebreathingcobra@yahoo.com...give my a shout if you have any questions, if i cant answer them i will get them from my professor and let you know (i am an upcoming herpatologist still in school)

Snakes don't have ears.. they hear by vibrations. So if you have a subwoffer or lots of bass and the snake is close by...it will drive the poor thing up the wall.

No. snakes don't have an outer ear and their inner ear is poorly developed. Their hearing in general sucks so it shouldn't bother it.
