How do you have a 'harmless' rattlesnake?
If you pull or break the fangs, they grow back (and the mouth becomes infected).
If you surgically remove the venom sacs, they are still going to bite and strike, as well as not do well in overall health.
If you sewed the mouth shut, the snake will die as well.
You may also want to check your local laws. In much of the US it is illegal to buy, sell, and/or own such animals. Giving them away often counts as buying and selling.

You can't possibly be serious. Why would you want to give your snakes, provided you know what you are doing with them, to just anyone who asks? Do you realize you could get someone killed? Don't waste my time with devenomization, it isn't guaranteed and reptiles regenerate. What kind of long vacation are you going on? Prison perhaps?

Snakes give me the creeps. Why in the world would you have those as pets? They don't freak you out? What kind of vacation are you going on? Did one of them bite you and now you have to go to therapy? I would not have a snake in my house! I don't like them crossing my yard! My husbands friend has a Red-Tail Boa, and he woke up one night to the thing coming out of it's cage and coming to him, another night he woke you to it slithering on him!
NO WAY! YOU WANTED THEM, YOU KEEP THEM!
Snakes NOT allowed at my house!

I don't think anyone's gonna take your pets. They are probably not harmless. Give them to someone in your family or a friend (if you got any).
