i would not risk it. it would any way require the tank to be very large so why not have two smaller tanks one for each. i wanted two critters so have divided my terrarium diagonally to use the space most effectively and it works fine

Of course you can keep a fan footed gecko and a day gecko in the same inclosure, Their habitats are about the same , their requirements are the same. The only problem that you might run into is only if they are not close to the same size. The larger of the 2 might try to eat the other 1. If they are close to the same size then you should have no problems at all

No, it is highly advised never to house two differnt species or sub-species of reptile together. Stress being the number one reason with violence and sickness coming in next. Alot of herps carry parasites and disease's that others are not immune to. Male gecko's fight among themselves all the time to the death if housed together even same species. Even spacing the tank in half with a clear divider or having tanks too close to each other causes problems with stress.
