Good luck! We just got a Ball Python and yet to know if it's a boy or a girl. I know how, it's just not old enough. Though I have read all the wives-tales. So if you don't know the gender, try a name that can be either-or. We are waiting to get a feel of our snakes personality then we'll come up with something good. Though we just got a scorpion and named it Sting (it's a boy) after the wrestler.

You should name it hamburger. That is a GREAT name for a snake. Also for a chicken.
