Yes snakes do have a neck,but the neck area is obviously connected to the actual body itself and so yes it's hard to distinguish. It really depends on the snake. The bigger the snake the longer the neck. If there was a particular species of snake then i could most likely tell you where it ends.

Anatomically, you would think a snake's neck would run from the base of its skull to the first vertebra where there are ribs or the clavicle.

Practically, for animals like corn snakes (elaphe gutatta) while the end of the head is easily seen, there's not much to distinguish "neck" from "body".
