First, if you purchased them seperate keep them apart for at least a month, just to make sure neither is sick. That way it
will not spread to each other.
And as for putting them together I think it works great. We have
4 in a large tank. Enough that they could have their own space, but they are all balled together in the mornings.
This is one important point that we have done since our snakes were little. We do NOT feed them in their housing enclosure.
We have a bare tank that we take each snake and feed them seperately. This way they don't get use to food being given in
their enclosure and it reduces the posibillities of being bit.

While the snakes probably will not harm each other being housed together, it is not a good idea.
It can cause the snakes to become stressed out to the point of not eating.
Also, when you do feed they could both grab the same food item at which point you will have a serious problem.
Not to mention, if there are any health issues, you risk both snakes becoming ill instead of just one.
It is always best to keep them in separate cages. However, if you must house them together temporarily, always feed them in a separate cage.

You should be able to keep them in one tank, just keep an eye on them. If they seem like they dont get along then put them in seperate tanks. I would also consider feeding them seperatly to avoid any injury or accidents.

Not usually, but if one is vastly larger than the other one might be aggressive towards the other, espicaly if you do not feed them enough. Young ones can be housed together with no problems.

i dont know, you could ask a game warden or someone that knows reptiles, but if one of them starts being agressive toward the other, i would defiantly move one of them into another tank. thats what i would do!
