importing silkworm eggs from Japan?

Question

I feed silkworms to lizards and I have been getting them from suppliers that buy the eggs from China. There has been some problems with viruses from there and I understand the eggs from Japan do not have any problems, but they are more expensive. Does anyone know if there is a supplier of Japanese silkworm eggs in the US?

Silkworms are surprisingly easy to raise. This site will tell you how to do so and where to buy both eggs and feed in the US.
