If it was laid in water, it is infertile.
If the turtle still has eggs, provide a good nesting site and read the advice on the sites below.

Call a pet shop and ask them...Thats weird bc normally turtles mate. Some reptiles can, however, produce both sex organs to reproduce if they are alone long enough.

I doubt if it will hatch - the temp in the tank is likely not warm enough, plus it is not fertilized, unless you got her when she was pregnant.
Toss it. The turtle does not care.

Hatch it keep it warm...The turtle wont hatch it. If you don't want it get rid of it. Or smash it so it won't hatch!

Other than that, just leave the egg in there. Usually they are slightly buried, so just try to keep it the way you found it.

get some sand get a light have the light hit the sand for it can get warm & then pute the egg in the sand wet it with a little bett of water
