IF YOU WANT A NEXT BABY TURTLE KEEP THE EGG AND WAIT TO IT HATCH. IF YOU KEEP IT SAFE LYKE UNDER A LIGHT N A SAFE PLACE IT WOULD HATCH FASTER AND YOU WILL HAVE ANEXT TURTLE!!! GOOD LUCK WITH THAT AND I HOPE YOU DECIDED ON THE BEST THING TO DO TO THE LIL TURTLE :)

If it was laid in water, it is infertile.

If the turtle still has eggs, provide a good nesting site and read the advice on the sites below.

Call a pet shop and ask them...Thats weird bc normally turtles mate. Some reptiles can, however, produce both sex organs to reproduce if they are alone long enough.

I doubt if it will hatch - the temp in the tank is likely not warm enough, plus it is not fertilized, unless you got her when she was pregnant.

Toss it. The turtle does not care.

Hatch it keep it warm...The turtle wont hatch it. If you don't want it get rid of it. Or smash it so it won't hatch!

Congrats, you have a female.
Other than that, just leave the egg in there. Usually they are slightly buried, so just try to keep it the way you found it.
