IF you have a red-eared slider, they will do this if they are too cold. a secondary problem is a respiratory infection -- look for bubbles that collect at the corners of his mouth, or a clear mucus on top of the water. there is a "kill zone" for the water temperature -- i think it's between 65 and 72 degrees F. Too cold to eat, but too warm to hibernate. that's when they get sick. they need heat treatment, and yes, a vet can give them a shot. 12 Days! you need to MOVE IT girl!

It would help to know the species, size, and diet.
Turtles are not real easy pets, but they usually eat OK assuming some basic conditions are met.
Is the tank OK? It should be big and roomy, warmed to about 80, and very clean.
Does it have a basking site that is dry and warmed to about 90?
Is the diet good? The easiest is to use a high-quality turtle pellet until you learn about other options.
Is there too much stress around it? Lights, noises, vibrations, dogs, handling, and even being stared at from above can stress a turtle.
Try thse and some of the ideas at the site below and see if it helps:

It is very important to determine what type of turtle you have. There are many good sites on the internet with pictures to help you find out. Some turtles eat only plants. Fresh lettuce is easy to provide. Others eat insects. Your local pet shop can supply you with meal worms or small crickets. It's also important to keep the cage clean and determine how much water to provide. A turtle won't eat if it's stressed.

The water may be too cold, and turtles get picky about their food if you feed too many treats that's all they want to eat and will refuse the turtle food you feed them. And also, some turtles ( water turtles) need to be in the water to eat, they can't eat outside of the water. My turtles favourite treat is frozen krill, you could try that as well.
I use Reptomin floating food sticks as a primary diet, they also like romaine lettuce, carrots, and certain veggies like that. But make sure you look it up in the internet because you can't give them head lettuce and so on.

You should contact a local rescue because you are clearly unfit to care for this animal. Turtles are not easy or cheap and require a TON of space! Get this turtle to a vet and find a rescue capable of providing what this turtle needs.

Many reptiles dont eat for a while after being moved to a new home (to much stress) also many reptiles just don't eat much. Try a variaty of vegtables insects and turtle foods. Don't worry about it he will probably come out of it on his own when he is hungry enough
