I haven't fed mine in a couple days because I haven't had any crickets. How long can he go without eating? He will be a year old in July.

Brandi.. way to be mean about it. I didn't even realize that he didnt have any crickets until today and it was too late to go get some.

couple of days is no problem.. they can go for months without food if they had to, just as long as they had a fat tail going into the fasting. their fatty tail and the fact that they are cold-blooded allows them to go for extremely long periods without food

i believe in the wild they may hibernate for a few months every year

If its a toddler leopard gecko then i'd go away it on my own for some days. you've in problem-free words only were given it so that's going to be somewhat lower than pressure with its new ecosystem. the actual shown reality that it already has had a waxworm is a good signal yet only go away to its own gadgets for a short while. So there is not any longer some thing to be bothered about in the present day, what's taking position as we communicate such as your gecko is totally organic and comprehensible!

He could technically go for quite a while, probably at least a few weeks though I haven't tested this for myself. For adults (like yours) it's OK to feed them 3 times a week or so. Juveniles should be fed daily. Whenever possible though I would try not to miss feedings, at least not for a very long period of time....

you need to get srickets. If you can't afford to get crickets or your parents won't take you to get crickets, or if you don't have time to get crickets then you don't need the lizard. Would you like it if you had to go a few days without eating?

Well, your gecko is a fat gecko. So, he could probably last quite a while. Though, I am sure he will start biting you more than he already does. I mean, hunger will probably make him very testy.

they can go a long time, around a month without food, so long as they have a tail and it is full.
